These legs were made for walking..

Yes, these are my two legs.. legs that have carried me for 40+ years.  I love my legs.  I am thankful for them.  They have literally supported me through every event in my life.. sad times, happy times, fun times... they walked me down the aisle to meet my husband-to-be 21 years ago.. carried me across the stage when I received my Masters degree... bared witness to the birth of my three boys.. climbed mountains.. played tag.. rode bikes... roller skated..you name it.. they've done it.  They are strong legs and I hope that they will continue to be as I move through my life.  Today, though, I gave them a rest.  It was a gorgeous day and we drove along the coast to Half Moon Bay stopping at Sam's Chowder House for a bit.  There is a little stretch of beach with such fine sand.  Immediately when we got there Adam asked if I would help him dig a hole.. which is something I love to do when at the beach.  After the hole was dug, I lay back and relaxed and enjoyed the warmth of the sun on my legs.
